The Job

1x Position Part time waking nights from 8pm until 9am great to work around family 2 x nights a week then 1x night the next on a 4 week rolling rota extra hours available to cover some days shifts and to cover sickness and holidays. Excellent rates of pay.

Overtime is always available. This rota is ideal for a great work & home life balance. IT IS A FANTASTIC OPPORTUNITY for the right candidate.

Also if you would like a change of career into care all training is given.

Driving is essential.

The Person

Good sense of humour and outgoing personality.

Flexibility is required to cover annual leave and sickness and also when there is a change to the young mans health needs.

Caring for a young adult with complex health needs.

Experience in the following preferable but not essential: Epilepsy, gastro feeding, medication administration, oral suction,niv bi-pap ventilation. Experience is preferred but not essential as full in house training will be given for the ideal candidate.

Annual training from health professionals specific to the young adults medical needs is provided to all care staff. Online E-Learning courses are available paid for by employer.

Enhanced DBS is required for the post which will be paid for by the employer.

You will be working in a small friendly outgoing team of care/support workers within the family home. You will assist in daily personal care needs for the young adult and administer medication.You maybe required to assist on medical appointments and assist in daily activities and outings.

You will also be required to assist while the young adult goes on holidays and you will need to have an up-to-date passport.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to work with an outgoing young adult with a wicked sense of humour who loves to live life to the full despite their disabilities.
