The job
Are you someone who would like a job where your focus is on supporting a young man with a disability? Where you can use you own day to day experiences and passions to help a child to keep safe and make good progress in the development of independent life skills, experiencing new things and enjoying social experiences? If yes, then this could be the role for you!
A young man is looking for a Worker to support him to get out and about to undertake various activities, such as going bowling or roller skating
The right person
The right attitude and an understanding of the issues that children face who have a learning disability is also important. Experience of supporting children with a disability would be advantageous.
The hours
2 hours per week. These are to be worked either on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday. The employer is willing to be flexible around days and times.
You must be able to drive and have a car available for work purposes.
The rates of pay and benefits
£8.91 Monday – Saturday. £9.22 Bank Holidays
You will receive paid holidays and the opportunity for training relevant to your role.
Successful applicants must be eligible to work in the UK. This post is subject to DBS checks the cost of which will be met by your employer.
