Female Personal Care Assistant required near Astley Bridge, Bolton (BTA/LR)

Are you looking for a role that promotes another’s wellbeing? Where you can use your own day to day experiences and training to help someone to keep safe while engaging in aspects of daily living at home? Then this could be the role for you!
A gentleman with physical and learning difficulties requires 2:1 support in his own home with tasks such as personal care, dressing, meal preparation, feeding and medication. You will work alongside another member of staff.
The right person :
It is not essential that you have experience in care and support. You must, however:
- Be capable of communicating effectively and have a consistent approach
- Have experience in supporting and communicating with younger adults
- Be physically fit enough to complete the tasks required
- Be positive in nature – a bubbly, cheerful personality is a must!
- Deal well with spontaneity
- Have an up to date certificate in Moving and Handling and be confident with hoisting
- Happy to learn!
The Hours :
8.00am – 9.00am on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
You should always be willing to work as a team and pick up additional hours and be flexible to cover holidays and times of sickness. You will work as part of a team within the home.
The rates of pay and benefits:
£8.21 Monday – Saturday
£9.22 Sunday and Bank Holidays
You will receive paid holidays and the opportunity for training relevant to your role.
