We are looking to recruit a team of Personal Assistants to support a woman who is living in her own home with complex care needs.
The team will support her to continue to live in her own home, supporting her complex health care needs. Their role will be maintaining personal safety, emotional and social support.
Medical intervention needed full training will be provided. This is a clinical role with clinical tasks.
It is not essential that you have experience in care and support but essential attributes include empathy, patience, enthusiasm, a willingness to learn and adapt, reliability and flexibility in a changing situation.
You must be a non-smoker as this is an essential requirement.
You will work independently as a member of an experienced and competent team comprising care staff and family who will provide full support during induction, during which you will receive full training in all aspects of your support duties. You will work in a family home, where everyone works well together. Support is primarily provided within the home but you will be required to provide care and support for outings and trips. Respect for the wider families space and privacy is essential.
Hours: there are various hours available (including relief), and support is provided over the day and night. Shifts include mornings, afternoons, evenings and sleeping nights. You will need to be able to drive due to the location of the job – there is no local bus route.
Good rate of pay for right candidates £8.50 to £11.00
You will receive 5.6 weeks paid leave per year.
